Your Business In 07

1.  Increase the number of customers

2.  Increase the amount of the average order

  3.  Increase the frequency of orders

If you can master these three fundamentals, you can grow any business, whether off-line or on-line.  Getting more customers is all about generating leads-getting your message in front of the right people and enticing them to take a look at your business.  Increase the average order is about persuasion and bundling-giving people a better deal for a larger order.  Increasing the frequenc of purchase is about the back end-developing long-term relationships with your customers so they want to buy again and again.  Apply these timeless principles in 07 & Double 007 your business.

DOT Congestion Relief Initiative

 congestion relief

National Strategy to Reduce Congestion on America's Transportation Network, which provides the framework for government officials, the private sector, and most importantly, the citizen-user, to take the necessary steps to make today's congestion a thing of the past. The objective of the initiative is to reduce congestion, not simply to slow its increase. Congestion is not an insurmountable problem. But solutions will require a smarter approach to capacity expansion and improved productivity of existing transportation assets. The Department has a six-point plan for addressing congestion relief:

  1. Relieve urban congestion.
  2. Unleash private sector investment resources.
  3. Promote operational and technological improvements.
  4. Establish a "Corridors of the Future" competition.
  5. Target major freight bottlenecks and expand freight policy outreach.
  6. Accelerate major aviation capacity projects and provide a future funding framework.
